Chain React 2019 — The React Native Conference
Juicy details of the returning React Native Conference
Chain React is the U.S. React Native conference where hundreds gather to hear speakers from all over the world share knowledge on writing React Native apps on iOS/Android/Windows and other platforms. All the blog posts we’ve written wouldn’t hold a candle to the amount of wisdom that one gets by attending Chain React.

You can’t help but deeply enjoy hearing the success stories from Chain React. People show up to learn about React Native one year, and then return to tell us about their success stories the next. Attendees from one year aspire to become speakers and with enough determination, they get accepted and speak the very next year! We see our shirts and stickers at other JavaScript conferences throughout the year, and we chat with those people to share their adventures. It’s safe to say, Chain React is a favorite event, and it is my distinct pleasure to start laying the groundwork of announcements for our next one on July 11–12, 2019.
Location Location Location!
We’ll be back in Portland (the one in Oregon) and though we would love to grow the conference bigger, we’ve decided to keep the same venue that holds 500+ people. It’s simply too beautiful and perfect for us to leave. This means limited seats, but a primo experience.

The relationships we’ve built with the venue have served us well, and the compliments we get on how nice the venue is for our attendees is what counts. We’ll be keeping our hipster castle, the Portland Armory, for 2019.
Speakers
Let’s announce some invited speakers!

Radek Pietruszewski is smart, creative, but most importantly for our conference, friendly. I had the pleasure of spending time with Radek at React Native EU, and again at React Alicante. We’re excited to have him sharing his inventive spirit and popular open source with everyone.

Kenza Iraki visited and covered the conference last year for her Let’s React Newsletter, co-produced with Wyatt McBain. We’ve been following her ever since, and are happy to have her in our announced speakers list for 2019! Kenza is an experienced speaker and writer.

Brent Vatne was one of our most requested speakers for Chain React 2017, where he delivered a very deep and motivating talk called React Native Sandpaper. We’re happy to announce he’ll be back again in 2019 to wow us all again.
We’ll have workshops again the day before. With Vladimir Novick, Infinite Red Trainers, and Josh Justice on July 10th at the Speaker’s hotel. We’ll announce sales for those soon!
Do you want to be a speaker?

It’s your time to shine as an icon in React Native. Let’s see what you’ve got! The CFP open until March 1st. Send your best as we often receive hundreds of applications.
We’ll be announcing more speakers and featured guests soon. You can expect key speakers from Facebook and other well-known companies. To get the 411 as soon as we announce, follow us on Twitter, Facebook, or sign up for the upcoming Infinite Red newsletter.

A Hotswap Table?
At every conference I’ve been to, people need a spot to drop business cards, swag, and even ask for jobs! Inevitably some random table gets used and people aren’t sure if they can drop their business cards. We provide a specific table and we constantly make it full of cool stuff!
BRING YOUR SWAG AND CARDS!

We keep the Hotswap table kicking. We put candy, stickers, and even hundred dollar prizes! Drop whatever you want, and pick up whatever you want! You might be lucky enough to check it right after we’ve snuck something cool onto the table.

If you want everyone to know your company, be a sponsor! If you can’t afford sponsorship, bring your company swag and put it on the table (no direct soliciting please).
Buy Tickets — Receive Awesome 🎉
As of the time of this writing, we’re running our early-bird prices. The ticket prices only go up the closer we get to the event. Buy early when it’s cheap and not sold out!
🔥 EDIT: Next phase of early bird tickets will be released on January 28th
I hope all of your smiling faces make it to Portland in July, where you’ll be doing a wonderful service for yourselves, and each other. Let’s Chain React!
